I ended up finding the timber sizes I needed at Foxtimber after a couple of other places didn’t have them, so that worked out well. There were a few bits not in stock, but nothing that really threw things off. Ordering was straightforward enough, and I’d probably use them again if they keep carrying a decent range.

The website does the job overall, but just a heads-up if you’re using it for the first time: it can feel a little clunky. A few pages loaded slower than I expected, and some sections felt crowded, so it took me a bit to find what I was looking for. It’s not a bad site by any means, but I think it would be a lot more user-friendly if things were a bit cleaner and easier to navigate.

Used it for a few jobs around the garden, like fixing a small frame, sorting some edging, and replacing a couple of old boards, and it’s been spot on. Would happily order again.

I don’t feel like this was worth what I paid. The price seemed reasonable at first, but once it arrived, the quality just didn’t line up with the cost. For that amount of money, I expected something better, not something that feels basic. I think the company needs to be more upfront about what customers are actually getting and take some accountability when the value isn’t there. I wouldn’t buy it again, I’ve found better options for the price elsewhere.

I ordered some timber online for collection from Fox Timber, and to be fair, it was ready the same day, which was handy. The staff in the yard were friendly enough when I arrived, so no complaints there.
The only thing was that picking it up took a bit longer than I expected. I had to hang around for a while, and I wasn’t totally sure where I was meant to go at first. One of the pieces was a bit rougher than I’d hoped too, but it was still usable.

I got this a while back, or maybe just a few weeks ago, I’m losing track, but it’s been through a bunch of rainy days already. So far the timber still feels solid and hasn’t shown any real issues.

I asked a bunch of questions, the staff had answers for all of it. Knew what they were talking about, they did, and it made the whole thing easy.

The packaging was ripped up and soaked when it arrived, and it felt like nobody even read my message about it. Frustrating to get something delivered in that condition.

Ordered a few timber panels they were better than I expected. Nice and straight, solid, and none of those rough, splintery bits you sometimes get with cheap rubbish. No drama, no faffing around, just good timber. I’d happily buy from them again

Foxtimber’s customer service was great (which always makes a difference). I had a question before placing my order, and they got back to me quickly. The reply was clear, friendly, and not pushy at all. They sorted out what I needed without any hassle, which I really appreciated. I’d happily use them again.
